COME TO LIGHT | WINTER 2012

It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream. All these thoughts of what’s going to happen, swirl around unabated. Fuelled by the dreams of yesterday with an aim to stand tall against all odds. A gentle breeze drifted in, giving a breath of inspiration and igniting this soul. As the world slowly started coming alive, the morning light filtered in, signalling the beginning of something wonderful.
Textures fill our world with structures of interwoven fibres and other distinctive compositions creating a complexity of harmonic balance. There is a delicate difference among earthy movements of desert sand and olives. Loving cocoa tinted siena brown shades, there is also an upbeat line-up composed with various spiced colours. Ochre, mandarin and red are displayed in graduating shades, chrome yellow is combined with orange that is also paired with deep brick shades giving a rustic wild mood. 

The Winter 2012 Come To Light collection arrives in stores next week!

Every time I shoot with Zanita I'm always left in absolute awe. She manages to create those images you never thought you were capable of creating, and at the same time provides invaluable guidance with such ease and grace. Every time I get in front of the lens I find myself repeating tips and advice I've learnt from her, which seems to be so embedded into my memory now that for some reason every time I see a bunch of flowers I have to fight the urge to shove them up against my chest! This is an out take from a shoot we did a few months ago which is actually one of my all time favourites now. PETALS | GARY PEPPER VINTAGE

With the colder months approaching and our winter wardrobes becoming somewhat darker, I wanted to make spring last for as long as I could with a light, white on white combination. This stunning Talulah dress could not be more perfect, with its delicate flowers and jewelled embellishments adding a whimsical and feminine feel. Here, I was patiently waiting to leave the InterContinental Hotel in Melbourne during LMFF. Love it when the furniture unexpectedly compliments your outfit.
