MISSONI LOVE

Colour, print and texture are some of my very favourite things in life.  I love the application of print Missoni use with all their homeware designs.  The clean modern lines of their design sillhoutes, then brought alive by these sensational vibrant prints.  If I were to add one special Missoni piece to my home it would have to be the peacock inspired chair at the top.  xx

INSPIRATION | BLACK & WHITE

I would absolutely love to do an editorial shoot all in black and white.  I really love this one though.  It is so beautiful yet so modern.  The textured concrete looks amazing with the model so perfect and glossy with hair all back and such dewy skin.  The balance is perfect.  Feeling very inspired this Monday morning! xx

GRACE | SPRING 2012 INSPIRATION

When I started designing our Spring collection, I was feeling inspired by beautiful applications and old world techniques that I could apply to garments.  After a trip to India late last year, watching all the hand beading and embrioderies which are applications I have only found in this ever inspiring country of colour.  I am really excited to share this little travel journey into India with my latest collection.  I love all the softness and beauty of the imagery I found with the florals and lace combinations.  Corals and lilacs were my colours for Spring, when I look back they seem to be my favourite colours of mine every Spring time.  I named the collection GRACE after the ever lasting Grace Kelly.  She was my muse for the collection.  I wanted to create an air of sophistication and beauty.  I turned floral roses into embriodery shapes,  used lace and mesh combinations.  Created a beautiful real life digital print which would have to be my favourite of the collection, as it turned out with such popping colours like the rose photo above.  I hope you enjoy the collection when you get to see it, but hopefully this little inspirtaion gives you a feeling of what is to come.  Kelli xx
